The New Zealand School Trustees Association came to us to promote their elections. They needed to raise awareness of a School Board’s role, and increase the number of nominees. To start, we created a memorable tagline that reflected a real truth: “Strong leaders make strong schools”. Creatively, we invoked strong emotional appeal by photographing children with a range of ages and ethnicities, while highlighting the desired skills of potential board members.
